"We contracted with Executive Exteriors to remodel our kitchen which involved new countertops, tile backsplash, sink/faucet, lighting and oven replacement. The project required the close coordination/scheduling of a variety of skilled laborers (carpenter, plumber, electrician and tile installer) and was executed very well. All workers were punctual, polite and did an excellent job. Any questions/concerns we had were promptly addressed. We were very satisfied by the way the overall process was managed. "Normandale Lake Estates is an apartment community located in Bloomington, MN. We discovered that the pillars (48) flanking our buildings contained lead-based paint. We needed to correct the situation quickly. Our regular painting company is not compliant to deal with lead-based paint so I got out the yellow pages. Executive Exteriors was the 2nd company I called and Mike Sowers was the representative I spoke with. There were many things that impressed me about Mike but the main thing that got my attention was when Mike asked what was most important to me about a vendor. WOW! I've been so complacent about mediocre customer service for so many years that I had to think about it for a minute. Mike came out to bid our job the same day I called him. He had a proposal written for us on the spot. We took a week to get our ducks in a row and once we gave Executive Exteriors the go ahead, the job was completed within 2 weeks! "January 26, 2009 When our home was hit hard by an early summer storm for the second year in a row, we dreaded the idea of again having to coordinate several work crews to repair the damages to our home. We decided this time that we needed to find a company that was able to complete all of repairs that needed to be done. We checked with friends for referrals, and after meeting with several companies and comparing repair estimates, we decided to hire Executive Exteriors to do the work. Our decision to choose Executive Exteriors was based on the personal referral, their competitive pricing, and their guarantees of satisfaction. The damages to our home included the roof, windows, deck, gutters, siding, and paint. As we closely inspected the damage that had been done to our home, we noticed that other parts of our home were starting to show signs of disrepair. We discussed these extra repairs with Executive Exteriors and they were able to handle all of the additional repairs that we requested. The degree of attention that Executive Exteriors paid to the repairs was something that I was not accustomed to. My experience has been that the homeowner must keep a watchful eye in order to make sure the repairs are done with quality and without corners being cut. This was not the case with Executive Exteriors. I am very particular about details, and they did a better job than I would have done with ensuring that (every) crack between our siding, soffits, and fascia were caulked, that all knot holes were filled, and that all rotten wood was discovered and replaced (instead of just being painted over). With each repair that was done to our home, I happily observed that all of the work was done with higher quality than I expected, and at a level that was definitely more-than-satisfactory. All of the employees at Executive Exteriors are pleasant and professional to work with; from the owner, to the project manager, to the skillful crew. While the work was being done, the work crews were respectful to our property and always put every yard item back in its proper place before leaving for the evening. I will be recommending Executive Exteriors to our friends, and plan to contract them to do all future exterior repair work on our home."

Project: Renovate or Repair a Home
Comments: I hired Executive Exteriors to fix my roof after a large tree broke through the roof and ceiling of my livingroom. I can't say enough good things about Mike the general contractor and his crew. The workers were very courteous and polite and I felt that I could leave them in my home when I wasn't there. Not only did they do an excellent job in fixing my roof but I could tell they took pride in their work. You could see the quality in their work and even did additional things that weren't within their scope because they felt they need to be taken care of. My home is over 50 years old and several other people owning this home so you can imagine the challenges I sometimes face. The workers were great and even gave me recommendation on other things that I should be aware of with my home. They went above and beyond my expectations and I can't thank them enough for all the hard work they put into reparing my home.

Comments: We had a great experience with Executive Exteriors. Mike worked really hard to make sure we stuck to our budget. All of the guys he brought in to work on our basement were friendly and respectful. Overall we were very pleased with the work done on our house. In the next few years we hope to remodel our kitchen and would very much like to work with Executive Exteriors again.

Comments: April 2010: They are reasonably priced, do good work, are very clean, and have had excellent communication all the way through. Oct. 2010: Due to storm damage on primary residence - I was forced to replace roof, gutters, and have some cosmetic work (due to leaky roof) completed in master bedroom. Mike was my first call. He worked with my adjuster, negotiating what needed to be done and at what price - then proceeded to complete all work in short order, at high degree of quality, and w/ utmost professionalism. I would hire Mike again without thinking twice.

Comments: Our project was to give an old house in the Central Neighborhood of South Minneapolis an exterior painting and stucco patch/repair. The house had lead issues to deal with and old weathered wood that is now smooth from the skillful restoration work of Executive Exteriors.
